Oklahoma Adds Former Fairfield G Brycen Goodine in Transfer Portal

Porter Moser and the Oklahoma Sooners added a new player to their roster through the transfer portal on Monday with the commitment of former Fairfield guard Brycen Goodine.

Goodine, a 6-foot-4 senior from New Bedford, Massachusetts, has been a special player for the Stags and has cemented himself as one of the nation’s best shooters.

 

As a senior in 2023-24, Goodine posted 13.9 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 1.4 assists per game. In addition to his solid numbers, the Massachusetts native connected on 49.8% of his shots from the field while shooint a blistering 46.7% from three.

Coming out of St Andrews High School in the Class of 2019, Goodine was listed as afour-star prospect by the 247Sports index and the nation’s 97th-ranked prospect. He also checked in as the 15th-ranked player at his position and the top-ranked player in the state of Massachusetts.

With Porter Moser and the Sooners getting set for their first season as members of the SEC in 2024-25, the team has pulled out all the stops to land top players this offseason. With his commitment, Pope becomes the Sooners’ second offseason addition and will join former Dayton guard Kobe Elvis in Norman.
