After announcing his decision to enter the transfer portal on April 25th, UNCW forward Trazarien White remains one of the biggest names available this offseason.

On Tuesday, White revealed a cutdown list of three teams that he would be focusing on, which included two teams from the Big 12 Conference, Baylor and TCU.

Three days later, things changed for White as he announced his plans to visit Texas Tech, TCU, Mississippi State, and Kansas State.

According to a report from CBS Sports’ Jon Rothstein, White is currently on a visit to Texas Tech that will last through May 4th, followed by a visit to TCU May 5th-7th, Mississippi State May 9th-10th, and Kansas State May 12th-14th.

Trazarien White generated interest from several teams in the transfer portal this offseason after posting incredible numbers during his junior season. The junior forward averaged 19.8 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game while connecting on 49.3% of shots from the field.

While White was listed as an unranked prospect by most major recruiting services when coming out of high school, the Texas native worked his way into a four-star portal prospect three seasons later. White checks in as the 61st-ranked player in the portal on the 247Sports index and the 12th-ranked player at his position.

Originally, the Texas native narrowed his list down to Baylor, TCU, and Mississippi State. However, Texas Tech and Kansas State have entered the conversation, with the Bears likely out of contention for the former Seahawk.

While Mississippi State has an equal shot at landing White’s services, should the junior forward wind up in the Big 12 Conference as a Red Raider, Horned Frog, or Wildcat, the league will have added yet another talented scorer to its ranks.
