UCF Football has turned things around this offseason after a 6-7 record and ninth-place finish in the Big 12 in 2023.

On Wednesday, On3 released the updated recruiting classes for each Big 12 squad and ranked them in order.

The Knights led the way because Head Coach Gus Malzahn recruited three four-star recruits and six three-stars.

Arizona State, Texas Tech, TCU, and Oklahoma State round out the top five.

UCF’s passing defense placed first in the Big 12 last season, and with commitments from four-star safeties Kendarius Reddick and Tony Williams, the Knights’ defense will be considered one of the best in the Big 12.

On3 also ranked the Knights’ recruiting class as the 22nd best in the nation.

After making the move from the Pac-12 to the Big 12, Arizona State has totaled a league-leading 13 recruits, including two four-stars and 11 three-stars.

Offensive coordinator Marcus Arroyo added serious firepower to his offensive unit with four-star wide receiver Adrian Wilson and four-star tight end AJ Ia.

Texas Tech brought in its quarterback of the future, Lloyd Wright, a four-star commit who helped the Red Raiders finish third in the conference.
