After playing just one season with the Arkansas Razorbacks, running back Isaiah Augustave committed to play for Colorado on Thursday.

The 6-foot-2 rising sophomore rushed for 202 yards last season, with 101 of them coming in a win over FIU on Nov. 18. As a result, he received the SEC Freshman of the Week Award.

He also ran for 80 yards and a touchdown in a loss to Missouri.

Out of high school, Augustave was ranked as a four-star recruit in the Class of 2023, committing to the Razorbacks over Oklahoma State, Florida State, Utah, and Tennessee, according to The Coloradoan.

Augustave comes to Colorado with three years of eligibility remaining.

Head coach Deion Sanders has added several portal additions this offseason, highlighted by Ethan Boyd (Michigan State), Johnny Chaney Jr. (Florida A&M), RJ Johnson (Arkansas), and Savion Riley (Miami).

Colorado opens the 2024 season at home against North Dakota State on Aug. 29, as this marks the Buffaloes’ first season back in the Big 12. CU’s first Big 12 matchup comes on Sep. 21 with the Baylor Bears coming to town.

Deion Sanders and company had a disappointing finish in 2023 with a record of 4-8, after starting the season 3-0.
