Report: Kansas, NC State Basketball Agree to Home-and-Home Matchup

Kansas Basketball: Hunter Dickinson

Beginning in the 2024-25 season, the Kansas Jayhawks and the NC State Wolfpack have agreed to a home-and-home matchup, reported by Matt Norlander of CBS Sports.

Kansas will host the first game at Allen Fieldhouse on Dec. 14, meaning NC State will host the matchup in 2025.

The NC State basketball program garnered national attention after winning the ACC Tournament last year, later advancing to the Final Four after winning nine of its last 10 games of the season.

KU lost in the second round of the NCAA Tournament against Gonzaga, but with Hunter Dickinson, KJ Adams, and Dajuan Harris, the Jayhawks are expected to compete once again for the Big 12 Title.

Wolfpack Head Coach Kevin Keatts had to add some firepower to his roster with DJ Burns, DJ Horne, among several other players from last year’s Final Four run losing eligibilty.

Keatts made several splashes in the transfer portal with Mike James and Brandon Huntley-Hatfield both coming from Louisville, along with Dontrez Style (Georgetown), and Marcus Hill (Bowling Green).

Kansas made a statement bringing in the No. 3 overall prospect in the NCAA Transfer Portal according to 247Sports, AJ Storr from Wisconsin, as well as Zeke Mayo, who averaged 18.8 points per game at South Dakota State.
