PFF College Ranks Eli Green at the Highest-Graded Receiver Returning to the Big 12

After transferring from North Dakota State to Iowa State, wide receiver Eli Green came in at No. 1 on PFF College’s list of the Top 10 returning receiver’s in the Big 12, who played at least 300 snaps last year.

Green concluded his sophomore campaign with a season total of 46 catches, 887 yards, and three touchdowns. The 5-foot-11 wide out showed his versatility, adding 118 rushing yards on just 11 carries.

He has two years of eligibility remaining.


Following Green came Tetairoa McMillan (Arizona), Jayden Higgins (Iowa State), Lajohntay Wester (Colorado), and Eric McAlister (TCU) in the Top Five.

McMillan was a standout during his sophomore season, finishing with 1,402 yards and 10 touchdowns, meanwhile Higgins returns to the Cyclones after falling just 17 yards shy of 1,000 yards last season.


West Virginia’s Hudson Clement ranks No. 6 after coming into last season as a walk-on. Clement earned a scholarship after last years season’s opening in a win over Duquesne, where the 6-foot-1 freshman racked in 177 yards on five catches, capped off with three touchdowns.

Closing out the list is Colorado’s dual-threat receiver Travis Hunter, three Kansas Jayhawks including Quentin Skinner, Lawrence Arnold, and Luke Grimm, as well as Iowa State’s Jaylin Noel.
