Watch: Kansas State Five-Star Target Linkon Cure Wins 3A State Hurdles

NCAA Football: Kansas State at Texas Tech

Five-star tight end Linkon Cure has quickly put himself on the map as one of the best athletes in the Class of 2025.

On Saturday, Cure confirmed that fact by taking home first place in the Kansas 3A State 110-meter hurdles.

Cure posted a blistering time of 14.52 at the event but narrowly missed out on breaking the state record for 110-meter hurdles.

The Kansas native will bounce back from his impressive track performance by making official visits to each of the four schools remaining in his recruitment, Kansas, Kansas State, Texas A&M, and Oregon.

While multiple teams are still involved in Cure’s recruitment, Kansas State has been the front-runner for the better part of the offseason, receiving crystal balls from multiple national recruiting experts. However, the Wildcats are joined by in-state rival Kansas, who recently added Cure’s older brother, Leyton, as a walk-on.

Cure has official visits set to each of his four remaining schools, starting with Kansas on May 31st, Texas A&M on June 7th, Oregon on June 14th, and Kansas State on June 21st.
