Look: Baylor Football Unveils New Uniforms for 2024 Season

NCAA Football: Sugar Bowl-Georgia vs Baylor

Baylor fans started their short work week with some exciting news: On Tuesday morning, the Bears football program teased brand new uniforms.

The BU social media page shared a tweet that the new threads would be unveiled at 10:00 a.m., and now, they’ve held true to their word.

The center Bear logo and horizontal stripes on the shoulders is a clean, fresh new design that feels a bit more vintage and clean than what we’ve seen from Baylor in recent years. Still, the use of bright green and yellow make these unique and a perfect new look for a program trying to get back to its winning ways.

The 2024 season has become a pivotal year in Dave Aranda’s tenure with the Bears, as the high expectations that were set in his second year with the program simply haven’t been met in the years since.

After going 12-2 and finishing as the No. 5 team in the country in 2021, Baylor has gone 6-7 and 3-9, finishing below .500 in back-to-back seasons. In fact, the Bears have gone 23-25 under Aranda’s watch, and 11-23 in seasons excluding 2021.

While the new uniforms will provide a small boost of anticipation for the program heading into the year, BU is in must-win mode heading into their fifth year under Aranda, and missing out on a bowl game could mean a change in direction for the program going forward.
