Oklahoma State Forward Isaiah Miranda Transfers to Green Bay

Bryce Thompson, Oklahoma State

On May 14, Doug Gottlieb was officially announced as the new head coach of the Green Bay Phoenix. On Tuesday, Gottlieb made a splash in the transfer portal, securing the commitment from former Oklahoma State big man Isaiah Miranda, per On3.

The former four-star recruit committed to NC State out of high school, where he redshirted before transferring to Oklahoma State. He also held offers from UCLA, Oregon, Texas, UCONN, and Louisville before choosing the Wolfpack, according to On3.

This past season, Miranda only played in three games before leaving the program in January.

In those three games, he averaged 2.7 points and 2.3 rebounds, with his highest-scoring performance coming on Dec. 17, 2023, in a win over Oral Roberts, as he finished with six points.

The 7-foot-1 center has only seen action in three total games thus far in his college career but brings a tone of upside and potential to a team that will be competing for the Horizon League Title next season.

Last season, the Phoenix placed third in the conference with a record of 18-14. Guard Noah Reynolds lead the way for the crew with averages of 20 points and 4.5 assists per contest before transferring to TCU this offseason.
