With the college football season just a few months away, PPF’s Max Chadwick ranked his top 10 receiving corps in the nation.

Despite having one of the worst offensive lines last year, quarterback Shedeur Sanders returns as one of the most accurate throwers in the country. In 2023, Sanders threw for 27 touchdowns and only three interceptions.

With wide receivers Travis Hunter and Jimmy Horn Jr. returning, the Buffaloes were ranked No. 8 on PPF College’s list.

The Oregon Ducks came in at No. 1 with Ole Miss, Ohio State, and Georgia, right behind them rounding out the top five.

Hunter finished second on the team in receiving yards (721) even though he missed three games due to injury, whereas Horn finished first in touchdowns with six.

Head Coach Deion Sanders has brought in receiving talent from the transfer portal including Will Sheppard (Vanderbilt) and LaJohntay Wester (FAU). Wester went for 1,168 receiving yards and eight touchdowns, meanwhile Sheppard concluded his 2023 season with 684 yards.

CU struggled after starting last season despite a 3-0 start, as the team finished 2023 season with a 4-8 record. The program left the Pac 12 to return to the Big 12 Conference for the first time since 2010.
