The Kansas Jayhawks are reportedly hosting Brown University on Dec. 22, as part of its 2024-25 non conference schedule, per Jon Rothstein.
The Bears will travel to Lawrence to play at Allen Fieldhouse, where the Jayhawks finished with a home record of 15-1 last year.
Kansas finished the 2023-24 season ranked No. 19 in the final AP Top 25 Poll, with a record of 23-11.
Despite finishing in fifth place in the Big 12, Kansas had a disappointing finish last season, losing to Gonzaga in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
Hunter Dickinson, KJ Adams, and Dajuan Harris Jr. are all returning to the team next season, while Head Coach Bill Self has added several talents from the transfer portal this offseason.
Wisconsin’s AJ Storr, South Dakota State’s Zeke Mayo, Alabama’s Rylen Griffin, Mississippi State’s Shakeel Moore, and Rice’s Noah Shelby all transferred to KU, while freshman guard Johnny Furphy declared for the 2024 NBA Draft.
Brown concluded the 2023-24 season with an overall record of 13-18, placing fourth in the Ivy League. Junior guard Kino Lilly Jr. finished 60th in the country in scoring with 18.8 points per game, while forward Nana Owusu-Anane placed 52nd in rebounding with 8.8 per contest.
