The NBA has sent out its first 12 invitations to the Green Room ahead of the 2024 NBA Draft and former Colorado forward Cody Williams was among that list, according to ESPN.

Some other notable names on the list includes UConn’s Donovan Clingan, Kentucky’s Reed Sheppard, Tennessee’s Dalton Knecht, and Baylor’s Ja’Kobe Walter.

Williams is projected to be selected No. 12 overall to the Oklahoma City Thunder in ESPN’s recent NBA Mock Draft.

The Green Room is an invite-only area that hosts the top prospects and their families in each NBA Draft and captures the moment these players hear their names being called on draft night.

During his lone season with the Buffaloes, the 6-foot-7 forward averaged 11.9 points, 3 rebounds, and 1.6 assists. Williams can shoot the three efficiently (41.5%), while also being able to get to the rim and finish through contact.

He has the potential to become a two-way star in the NBA since he is a strong perimeter defender and can guard multiple positions.

Williams is the younger brother of current OKC Thunder forward Jalen Williams who was selected No. 12 overall in the 2022 NBA Draft out of Santa Clara.

The NBA Draft begins on Wednesday, June 26 on ABC or ESPN at 8 p.m.
