Two teams from the Big 12 Conference are in the running for 2025 three-star wide receiver Muizz Tounkara, and he is set to announce his commitment on July 13th.

Tounkara announced his final three schools on Friday, with two of the three schools featured being the Arizona Wildcats and the Kansas Jayhawks.

Coming out of Clear Springs High School in the Class of 2025, Tounkara is listed as a three-star prospect by the 247Sports index and the nation’s 744th-ranked prospect. He also checked in as the 84th-ranked receiver in his class and the 89th-ranked player in the state of Texas.

Joining Arizona and Kansas on the list are the Wisconsin Badgers, who also received an official visit from the Texas native. All three schools earned campus visits from Tounkara, with Wisconsin hosting the first visit on May 31st, followed by Kansas on June 7th, and Arizona on June 14th.

Kansas currently holds the nation’s 45th-ranked class in 2025, which is headlined by four-star OT Juju Marks, three-star QB David McComb, and three-star linebacker Malachi Curvey.

Arizona trails Kansas’ 2025 Class, checking in with the No. 63 ranked group, headlined by three-star tight end Kellan Ford, three-star QB Robert McDaniel, and three-star ATH Sean Robinson.
