Once a year, UCF fans get to see their “Space Game” uniforms and they are glorious. Last year, the Knights unveiled their blue uniforms against Oklahoma State and ran the Cowboys off the field to the tune of a 45-3 beatdown.

The Pokes weren’t the first victim of UCF’s “Space Game” tradition, which officially started back in 2017. In fact, the Knights are a perfect 7-0 in such games and have outscored opponents by an average of 28.9 points per game in those contests.

This year’s Space Game, which will be played against Arizona on November 2, will be the eighth rendition of the program’s tradition, and on Wednesday, UCF unveiled what the Knights will be wearing for that contest.

Code-named “Mission VIII,” here’s a look at UCF’s incredible new uniforms.

With more odes and nods to NASA than we can fit in this article, UCF has gone above and beyond to pay tribute to the amazing mission that its alumni, faculty, and students are so passionate about: Humankind’s return to the moon.

UCF is off this week after defeating TCU 35-34 to start 1-0 in Big 12 play. They’ll resume action next week when they host Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes.
