Following a dramatic overtime win on Saturday against Dave Aranda and the Baylor Bears, ESPN’s Paul Finebaum changed his tune regarding Colorado football.
“I am in,” Finebaum said on SportsCenter. “We’re not talking about a football team. We’re talking about a legitimate reality show.”
“Move over ‘Golden Bachelor,’ Finebaum said. “I mean, this is the most exciting thing on television right now. And by the way, it’s been that way since Coach Prime got there. But I don’t think in all the dramatics we’ve seen anything quite like the scene last night.”
Led by a late hail mary attempt from Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders, the Buffaloes rallied back from a touchdown deficit to send the game to overtime. Sanders completed 25 passes for 341 yards and two scores on the evening, leading his team to a 38-31 win.
“I mean, this was made for Hollywood,” Finebaum continued. “It’s hard even to believe. I mean, the percentage of making this, of Colorado winning the game, was under 1% on the final play, and they still managed to do it. But then again, Coach Prime is in charge.”
With the incredible win over Baylor on his resume, Coach Prime leads the Buffaloes to a tough Week 4 matchup against Gus Malzahn and the UCF Knights.
