Colorado football is 1-0 in Big 12 play and 3-1 overall on the season, but Deion Sanders is making sure his guys don’t get complacent ahead of their Week 5 game against UCF.
Sanders was clearly unhappy with how practice began early in the week, and in a video clip from Deion Sanders Jr., the head coach lays into his team, saying, “You guys out here like you dominated.” Sanders wraps up the video clip by saying, “Start the practice over.”
Here’s the full clip.
Colorado beat Baylor in overtime on Saturday in a game that included a Hail Mary as regulation expired. The Buffaloes won 38-31 and now get set for UCF, who is fresh off a bye week and is also 1-0 in Big 12 play after coming back to beat TCU on the road two weeks ago.
Colorado football also picked up its first Power 4 win since October 7th of last season, when the Buffaloes were members of the Pac-12.
Colorado vs. UCF kicks off at 3:30 pm EST in Orlando. The game marks their first road game in Big 12 and the first time Sanders will return to his home state as the Buffaloes’ head coach.
The Colorado vs. UCF spread opened up at UCF -11 and has moved to UCF -14 in many sports books, suggesting the big bets are on the Knights, because the public is on the Buffaloes, who are getting about 80% of overall tickets in this game.
