BYU Announces Future Football Series With Four Opponents

NCAA Football: Brigham Young at Arkansas

On Wednesday, the BYU football program announced the addition of future home-and-home series with California, Boston College, Oregon State, and Colorado State.

According to a release, BYU and Cal have agreed to a two-game series, with the Cougars hosting the Bears in Provo in 2026 and making a return trip to California Memorial Stadium in 2027. The two programs have met a total of five times in their history, with BYU holding a 3-2 advantage all-time.

Boston College and BYU will begin their two-game series with the Eagles traveling to Provo in 2028 and BYU making their return trip to BC Alumni Stadium in 2029.

The series with Oregon State will begin in Provo in 2027 and will have the return trip to Corvallis in 2028. The Cougars and Beavers have met a total of 11 times, with OSU holding a 6-5 edge.

The final and most familiar foe that BYU has scheduled a future series with, Colorado State, is scheduled to start in Fort Collins in 2026, when the Rams join the Pac-12. CSU would then make their return trip to Provo in 2029.

The Cougars and Rams shared a conference for decades, most recently the Mountain West until 2011, and have met a total of 69 times. BYU leads the series 37-29-3, and currently holds a seven-game winning streak in the series.

In addition to the four newly scheduled series, BYU also announced changes to the following games, with either a new date or a date after originally TBD.
