On Monday, Tad Boyle and the Colorado Buffaloes added a new name to the Class of 2025 commits, with the addition of a key four-star prospect.
Josiah Sanders, a 6-foot-4 combo guard from Colorado, elected to stay home and take the court in Boulder in 2025-26.
Coming out of Colorado Prep in the Class of 2025, Sanders is listed as a four-star prospect by the 247Sports index and the nation’s 119th-ranked prospect. He also checks in as the 16th-ranked player at his position and the top-ranked player in the state of Colorado.
An impressive player in his class, Sanders chose the Buffaloes over offers from 17 different programs, including Arizona State, Tennessee, Missouri, Ole Miss, Wisconsin, and more.
“Sanders is a big and strong lefty guard who played almost exclusively with the ball in his hands this spring and summer,” 247Sports’ Adam Finkelstein writes. “He plays with an attacking mentality and creates all types of mismatch problems for opposing guards who can’t contend with his size and strength. Sanders can both get downhill to put pressure on the rim and has a terrific change of pace off the dribble with the body control to maintain his balance through contact. He can be very crafty, getting paint touches and playing in attack mode without getting sped up, and he knows how to both get himself to the free-throw line and create for others.”
With his commitment, Sanders became the fourth addition to the Buffs’ recruiting class alongside four-star shooting guard Jalin Holland, three-star small forward Ian Inman, and three-star point guard Isaiah Johnson.
