Prior to the expansion of the College Football Playoff, very few realities existed, with half of the teams in the Big 12 Conference being considered for post-season play.

However, the 12-team playoff came into effect in 2024, and now nine teams from the league are receiving College Football Playoff odds.

Nine teams from the Big 12 Conference are earning spots among the nation’s best, including Iowa State, Kansas State, Utah, Texas Tech, West Virginia, Colorado, Arizona, BYU, and UCF, who are all receiving CFP odds.

After a perfect 5-0 start to the season, Matt Campbell’s Iowa State Cyclones lead the league with the best odds to make it to the 12-team playoff, with +170 odds and a 37% chance to reach the playoff. Following the Cyclones is Kansas State, with +225 odds and a 30.8% chance. Then comes Utah (+275, 26.7%), Texas Tech (+650, 13.3%), West Virginia (+800, 11.1%), Colorado (+900, 10%), Arizona (+1000, 9.1%), BYU (+1000, 9.1%), and finally UCF with +2500 odds and a 3.8% chance to make the playoff.

Here is a look at the complete playoff rankings, courtesy of the Action Network.
