Colorado Football is hosting Kansas State for Week 7 of the college football season and star two-way player Travis Hunter had to leave the game due to an injury.
According to a halftime update from Colorado, Hunter is questionable to return.
A Colorado assistant was holding Hunter’s helmet, but the cornerback/wide receiver was walking under his own power. ESPN’s Quint Kessenich later said on the TV broadcast Hunter is dealing with shoulder pain and the issue has been throughout the entire game.

“Hunter with the right shoulder pain,” Kessenich said. “You pointed it out. The medical staff looked at him. He came over, grimacing in pain. They came over to him again and now, this is the second time in this game that he has walked off. Amazing toughness because Omarion Miller wanted to substitute himself into the game, Travis waved him off. But finally, he’s in the locker room now, getting further evaluated.”
Colorado football enters the old Big 12 North match up against Kansas State with a 4-1 record, including a 2-0 start in the Big 12 Conference under head coach Deion Sanders.
The Buffaloes entered the home game as an underdog to the Wildcats, who also started the night with a 4-1 record, however the Cats are 1-1 in Big 12 Conference play.
