We’re headed into Week 8 of the 2024 college football season, and there’s plenty to be excited about in the upcoming slate of games.
Oklahoma State is coming off a bye week and will look to stop a three-game losing streak. Unfortunately, they’ll have to win a night game in Provo, Utah, against No. 13 BYU (6-0) in order to do so. On top of that, we have Arizona State (5-1) headed to Cincinnati (4-2) and Kansas State (5-1) headed to West Virginia (4-3).
However, the Big 12 is doing its best to stay one week ahead of us in the action, as the conference confirmed several kickoff times for the games in Week 9.
On Monday, the league announced the kickoff times and network designations for some of the games coming up in Week 9.
Oklahoma State will face Baylor on Saturday, October 26, at 2:30 p.m. CT. These are two programs that have gotten off to disappointing starts in 2024, hence why coverage will be provided on ESPN+.
Then, at 9:15 p.m. CT on Saturday, two of the bigger surprises to this point in the year will face off when Cincinnati heads to Colorado to take on the Buffaloes on ESPN.
The five remaining games that are scheduled for Week 9 are set for six-day selection, meaning we’ll know what time the games will be played, and which networks they’ll be designated to.
With the Big 12 being as wide open as it is in 2024, this is likely a trend that will continue as we venture later and later into the season.
