The BYU Cougars women’s basketball team hopes to push for its first NCAA Tournament appearance under coach Amber Whiting, based on its 2024-25 schedule.
The Cougars have been to postseason play in both seasons under Whiting, but neither was March Madness. Plus, both of those appearances ended with a first-round loss. She’ll try and change that in the Cougars’ second season in the Big 12.
The BYU schedule includes 11 non-conference games and 18 Big 12 games.
The Cougars’ lone tournament during non-conference is a trip to the Cancún Challenge in Mexico, where they will play Rice and Iowa.
BYU will open Big 12 action at home against Arizona on Dec. 21 and end it in Salt Lake City against rival Utah on March 1.
The Big 12 Tournament will be held March 5-10 at T-Mobile Arena and all 16 teams will participate, with the top four teams in the final standings getting double byes and the teams that finished in fifth through eight place will get single byes.
Here is the entire schedule, with game times and television designations, which are subject to change.
