With Week 7 of the 2024 college football season in the books, we now turn and look ahead to the Week 8 slate.
One of the week’s biggest games rests in the Big 12 Conference, with Saturday afternoon’s matchup between Colorado and Arizona.

Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes went toe-to-toe with one of the league’s best teams in Week 7, which resulted in a tough loss to No. 17 Kansas State. Shedeur Sanders had a career day, breaking multiple school records through the air, but unfortunately, it wasn’t enough to upset the Wildcats. Despite the loss, Colorado proved itself to be a legitimate Big 12 title contender. With stars like Travis Hunter and Jimmy Horn Jr. returning from injury in Week 8, the Buffaloes should have a serious shot at taking down a new set of Wildcats on Saturday.
On the opposite side of the field, Arizona’s football product has been one of the most interesting things to follow this fall. The team has had immense highs, like upsetting then-ranked No. 16 Utah, and some tough lows, like getting blown out by BYU and Kansas State. Still, with veteran playmakers like Noah Fifita and Tetairoa McMillan on the roster, Brent Brennan’s group is still a force to be reckoned with.
