With Week 7 of the 2024 college football season in the books, we now turn and look ahead to the Week 8 slate.
One of the week’s biggest games rests in the Big 12 Conference, with Saturday night’s matchup between TCU and Utah.
TCU Football vs. Utah Football
Two programs currently tied in the Big 12 standings, TCU and Utah, are set to clash in Week 7 to decide which team can get back on track. For TCU, the team has underwhelmed yet again under Sonny Dykes, with an overall record of 3-3 and a league record of 1-2. Through his last 13 games, Dykes holds an overall record of 5-8, alongside Colorado’s Deion Sanders and Kansas’ Lance Leipold.
On the opposite side of the field, Utah has had a rough go of things with some key injuries. Seventh-year quarterback Cam Rising is done for the year again in 2024, as the team looks to true freshman Isaac Wilson to finish the year off. While TCU enters the matchup with a more reliable quarterback under center, the Utes’ defense should have an opportunity or two to snag an errant throw from turnover-prone Josh Hoover.
