While the writing was on the wall for the Tennessee Titans to make a quarterback change after Will Levis‘ consistently comical struggles, on Saturday, the team made it official.

Brian Callahan and the Tennessee Titans are sitting down Levis in favor of former Oklahoma State quarterback Mason Rudolph.

During his four-year career in Stillwater, Rudolph proved to be one of the Big 12’s best passers under Mike Gundy. He threw for more than 13,600 yards in his career with a touchdown-to-interception ratio of 92-26. Following his time at Oklahoma State, Rudolph was selected by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the third round of the 2018 NFL Draft.

Five seasons later, Rudolph finds himself on the Tennessee Titans, stepping in as the starter over Will Levis. In his NFL career, the South Carolina native has had some opportunities to earn a starting gig, but the majority have been short-lived experiences. He’s thrown for 3,170 yards with 19 touchdowns and 11 interceptions in 22 games played.

Rudolph’s start will come on Sunday, October 20th, against one of the best teams in the NFL. The Titans come face to face with Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills in hopes of pulling off the divisional upset. Rudolph is set to take the field at 12:00 p.m. CT for the Titans.
