The Oklahoma State Cowgirls have put together a difficult schedule for their third season under head coach Jacie Hoyt.
The Cowgirls are coming off a disappointing 14-16 season in Hoyt’s second year at the helm, as Oklahoma State went 7-11 in Big 12 action and finished in eighth place.
OSU was coming off a 21-12 season in 2022-23, a year in which the Cowgirls went 10-8 in league play, tied for fourth in the Big 12 and went to the NCAA Tournament.
Oklahoma State will play 11 non-conference games, with all but two of them played at Gallagher-Iba Arena in Stillwater. The Cowgirls’ only road trip in non-conference will be in late November when they go to Daytona Beach, Fla., for the Daytona Beach Classic.
OSU’s first true road game won’t happen until Jan. 1 when they go to Baylor, which will be 11 days after their Big 12 home opener against Iowa State. Oklahoma State wraps up the Big 12 slate on March 2 at Kansas.
The Cowgirls will also get a week-long break in Big 12 action after their contest with West Virginia on Feb. 1.
The Big 12 Tournament will be held March 5-10 at T-Mobile Arena and all 16 teams will participate, with the top four teams in the final standings getting double byes and the teams that finished in fifth through eight place will get single byes.
