Ahead of the UCF Knights‘ Week 10 matchup vs. Arizona, senior wide receiver Kobe Hudson was placed with a questionable injury tag.
Hudson, the leading receiver for UCF this fall, took offense to the notion of missing the game and responded by giving fans hope on social media.
Hudson responded to the report, saying, “Ain’t nun questionable… See ya Saturday.”
In 2024, Hudson leads the Knights in catches, yards, and receiving scores. The Georgia native has secured 27 catches for 509 yards and three touchdowns on the year. His numbers bring his career total to 161 catches for 2700 yards and 22 scores.
Hudson made his way to UCF in the transfer portal class of 2022. He checked in as the 66th-ranked player in the portal and the 11th-ranked player at his position. Hudson committed to Auburn out of high school after being labeled a four-star prospect by the 247Sports index and the nation’s 111th-ranked player, 19th-ranked wideout, and the 17th-ranked player in the state of Georgia.
Despite Hudson’s solid numbers, Gus Malzahn’s group has yet to click on the field. The team has a 3-5 overall record and is 1-4 in conference play, good for 13th place in the Big 12.
They take the field on Saturday against another struggling unit, Arizona, at 2:30 p.m. CT in Orlando.
