With the Oklahoma State Cowboys and Arizona State Sun Devils getting set for the second half, the game was put on hold due to a lightning delay. Storms were expected to be in Stillwater, which is why the game was moved up from a 6:00 p.m. CT start to a 2:30 p.m. CT start.
But even that wasn’t enough to avoid the weather rolling through Oklahoma on Saturday. There has been no time given for resuming play.

The Sun Devils lead 21-14, and it is possible that if the game is called, it would be an official game, according to the FOX Sports broadcast crew. For those wondering, the spread before kick off was Oklahoma State +5.5.
Cam Skattebo scored a touchdown in the final seconds of the half to put the Sun Devils on top by a touchdown. Skattebo had 16 carries for 80 yards and a touchdown in the first two quarters. Sam Leavitt returned from injury and was 12/18 for 198 yards and two scores.
Meantime, Oklahoma State’s Ollie Gordon had a quiet half with six touches for six yards, but he did have a touchdown. While quarterback Alan Bowman was 13/19 for 151 yards, one score and one interception.
Arizona State entered the game 3-2 in Big 12 play, while Oklahoma State was 0-5.
Arizona State Early Ejection
Early in the Arizona State vs. Oklahoma State game on Saturday in Stillwater, Sun Devils defensive lineman Justin Wodtly was ejected from the game for spitting on a player.
The broadcast crew on FOX Sports 2 said there was no angle to show the spit back on TV, but clearly Wodtly was not happy with the call.
Wodtly has been consistent this season for the Sun Devils with 18 tackles on the season and two fumble recoveries.
