The Week 10 Big 12 college football attendance numbers came in after this weekend’s games, and what looked like a sleepy weekend ended up being a weekend full of chaos.
There were five games this week, three of which were played in front of 90% or higher capacity crowds, and just one hitting 100%.
Here are the numbers.

- Texas Tech at Iowa State: 61,500 (100.0%)
- TCU at Baylor: 44,171 (93.9%)
- Arizona at UCF: 42,110 (92.9%)
- Arizona State at Oklahoma State: 52,202 (87.0%)
- Kansas State at Houston: 23,085 (57.7%)
The largest crowd that we saw in Week 10, by sheer number of people, was Texas Tech at Iowa State, with 61,500 in attendance. It was also the highest-capacity game we saw all weekend, with right at 100% capacity.
The Red Raiders earned bowl eligibility with a 23-22 win over Iowa State, but also shook up the standings by handing the Cyclones their first loss of the year.
TCU vs. Baylor had a great crowd showing, too, as 44,171 (93.9%) piled into McLane Stadium to watch the Bears pull out a 37-34 victory to pick up their third-straight victory.
Arizona at UCF (92.9%) and Arizona State at Oklahoma State (87.0%) were played in front of decent crowds, with the Knights blowing out Arizona and the visiting Sun Devils handing Oklahoma State their sixth-straight loss.
Finally, the smallest crowd — and lowest capacity on the day — came at Houston, who was hosting Kansas State. With just 23,085 in attendance, the Coogs were playing with the stadium just 57.7% full. However, for the 23,000+ that did decide to show up, they were in for quite a treat as UH pulled off its biggest win of the season with a 24-19 upset victory over 17th-ranked Kansas State.
