On Tuesday, Arizona State running back Cam Skattebo took to social media to provide a major update about one member of the Skattebo family.
The star running back posted a photo about his missing dog, with a caption that read, “Tempe I finally need your help!!!”
“Tempe I finally need your help!!! He’s missing, we believe he’s been stolen, but not 100% sure,” Skattebo said. “He went missing around 4:30 in Tempe going to drop the location so everyone can see the area. HUGE REWARD if found !!!!!!!!”
Later that evening, Skattebo returned to social media with a positive update, mentioning that his dog had been found.
While Cam Skattebo is known as one of the most physical, punishing, running backs in the country on the football field, off the field, he’s a caring owner to a loving pet.
His status for Saturday’s matchup vs. UCF is in question, with an undisclosed injury sustained vs. Oklahoma State. Early Friday morning, ASU head coach Kenny Dillingham noted that Skattebo’s status is questionable at best, likely doubtful to suit up. He also mentioned that he will do whatever he can to convince Skattebo not to play so they can get him back to full strength.
Thanks to the help of social media members and locals in Tempe, Arizona, the absolute dog of a running back found a way to get his dog back.
