Following a massive win over undefeated BYU, the Kansas Jayhawks understandably had a major celebration in the locker room post-game.
The celebration included one of the Jayhawks defensive leaders, cornerback Cobee Bryant, calling out the Cougars on TikTok.
Bryant posted a video of himself dancing in the locker room with his teammates and a caption that read,” No way they was #6 in da country.”
The Jayhawks handed BYU their first loss of the season, in a packed environment in Provo. While Kansas had a rough start to the 2024 season, the team is starting to play the brand of football many expected. In their past four games, Kansas is 3-1 with wins over two Top 25 teams, Iowa State and BYU.
The video went viral on social media, with many fans questioning the decision to downplay BYU after an upset.
The Jayhawks stretch of Top 25 opponents faced will continue in Week 13 with the opportunity to take down the surging Colorado Buffaloes. Deion Sanders’ squad checks in at No. 16 in the AP Top 25 and is well on their way to a Big 12 Championship berth. Kansas stands in the way and will clash with Colorado at Arrowhead Stadium on Saturday, November 23rd, at 2:30 p.m. CT.
