Ollie Gordon Would Not Confirm His Future Plans After Texas Tech Loss

Syndication: The Oklahoman

On Saturday, following an emotional loss to Texas Tech, Oklahoma State running back Ollie Gordon discussed his future with the Cowboys.

When asked about the emotions of the game, Gordon mentioned that it may not be his last game at Boone Pickens Stadium.

“It’s kind of weird,” Ollie Gordon said on potentially playing his last game for OSU. “It might not be. I haven’t made that decision yet. The only reason I walked tonight was because I’m a senior, and I graduate next month. After the season, I’m going to talk with my family and coaches to see what I should do.”

While Gordon’s season has not gone according to plan, his game has really come on as of late. In the last two games, Gordon broke the century mark on the ground with 121 yards against TCU and 156 vs. Texas Tech.

According to NFLDraftBuzz, Gordon is projected as a fifth-round pick in the upcoming draft, though prior to the start of the season, the Texas native had been listed as the top available running back in his class.

Gordon and the Cowboys return to the field in their season finale on the road vs. Colorado on Saturday, November 29th, at 11:00 a.m. CT.
