NCAA Football: Villanova at Central Florida

While it’s no secret that Gus Malzahn upset the UCF fan base with another underwhelming season in 2024, his actions on Friday riled up the fanbase one final team before the season’s conclusion.

In the loss to the Utah Utes, Malzahn was seen waving off his starting quarterback, Dylan Rizk, which did not look great on the broadcast.

The move made some rounds on social media, with loads of Knight fans calling out the behavior of their head coach. Here are some of the best reactions to the situation.

If a player were to do that he’d be benched at least a week. That’s terrible leadership. You want to know why this team gave up? Look at the coach on top

Rizk is the only reason this POS still has a job.

That’s really pathetic looking. Gus needs to go.

How has there been ZERO statement regarding our coaching situation? @TerryMohajirAD gotta go first. Let the chips fall where they may after.

Revamp the entire program from top to bottom.
College Football is a business now. Its only aim from the players’ perspective is to provide them coaching and training that allow them to showcase and develop their skills in hopes of transitioning to the NFL.
There is no loyalty.
