The 2024 New Mexico Bowl has been set between the TCU Horned Frogs and the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns.
The game will take place on December 28th in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
TCU was a tough out for just about anyone in the Big 12 Conference this fall, as Sonny Dykes group finished with an overall record of 8-4. They took down Stanford, LIU, Kansas, Utah, Texas Tech, Oklahoma State, Arizona, and Cincinnati. They head into the post-season on a three-game win streak. All-time, the Horned Frogs hold an 18-18 record in the program’s 36 bowl games.
Meantime, the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns took the Sunbelt Conference by storm with a second-place finish and a 10-3 overall record. They capped off the season with a brutal loss in the Sun Belt Championship Game, a 31-3 blowout to Marshall. The team holds a record of 5-4 in 11 bowl games all-time. The trip to the New Mexico Bowl marks the program’s sixth straight season reaching bowl eligibility dating back to 2018.
The two teams have never met in program history.
The game is scheduled to begin at 2:15 p.m. EST and will air on ESPN.
