One of the biggest names of the winter transfer portal cycle is Texas Tech wide receiver Micah Hudson, who spent all of one season in Lubbock before seeing what else is out there for him.

A consensus five-star wideout from the 2024 class, Hudson currently ranks as the No. 2 overall player in the transfer portal, according to On3, and now two of the most respected names in the recruiting industry have logged a prediction for where he’ll end up.

On Wednesday, On3’s Steve Wiltfong and Pete Nakos both logged predictions for Hudson to join Texas A&M’s roster for the 2025 season.

Listed at 5-foot-11, 195 pounds, Hudson was the No. 12 overall prospect in the 2024 class and originally chose Texas Tech over a host of blue-blood programs like Texas, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Texas A&M, Alabama, and LSU.

Now, it appears he’ll end up signing with one of the bigger NIL brands in the country and immediately become one of the premiere offensive weapons at the Aggies’ disposal.

Texas A&M head coach Mike Elko has already been active in retooling his offense through the transfer portal, landing a commitment from former UAB quarterback Jacob Zeno to add to a room that already has RS-freshman Marcell Reed and incoming four-star Brady Hart.

Now, it appears he’ll provide his new quarterbacks with a major target, hoping to continue building an A&M offense that ranked first in SEC play in scoring (29.4 ppg) and second in rushing (183.4 ypg).
