West Virginia vs. Memphis: Prediction and Projections

With Rich Rodriguez officially back in the head coach’s chair, this game feels like the last glimpse of the Neal Brown era in Morgantown. There were ups and downs throughout his stint, but I have a hard time seeing guys like Garrett Greene and Wyatt Milum going out without putting up one heck of a fight in this matchup. Memphis is a good group, and their final game of the regular season — a 34-24 upset of No. 17 Tulane — showed what they’re capable of. I’m not sure that WVU can pull off the outright upset, but I’ll take them to cover in a game that comes down to the wire.

MEM 31, WVU 30
