On Wednesday night, one of Arizona State’s key defensive players announced that he would be returning in the 2025 season.
That player is junior safety Myles Rowser, who played an instrumental part in the team’s run to the College Football Playoff.
Rowser, a 6-foot-1 junior from Detriot, Michigan, Posted 93 total tackles in 2024, which led the team this fall. He also recorded one sack and four pass breakups. His return to Arizona State signals the first time Rowser will return to a program in his three-year career. The Michigan native started his career at Campbell before transferring to New Mexico State and then Arizona State.
Coming out of Belleville High School in the Class of 2022, Rowser was listed as a four-star prospect by the 247Sports index and the nation’s 232nd-ranked player. He also checked in as the 19th-ranked player at his position and the fourth-ranked player in the state of Michigan.
While the news is great for Kenny Dillingham’s group next fall, Rowser still has more to play for in 2024. The Sun Devils take on the winner of the first-round College Football Playoff matchup between No. 5 Texas and No. 12 Clemson.
