It’s been a rough week on social media for ESPN’s Kirk Herbstreit, who has quickly staked his claim as the next SEC mouthpiece to find himself trending for some negative comments on the College Football Playoff field.
Herbstreit spoke about Indiana and SMU making the playoff in a conversation with Linda Cohn on SportsCenter, where he chose to utter the words, “I don’t want to hear about wins.”
His comments sent the internet and college football world into a frenzy, which resulted in Herbstreit being labeled public enemy number one on X for his growing SEC bias.
