The West Virginia Mountaineers are set to play the Kansas Jayhawks in Allen Fieldhouse on Tuesday, and if that isn’t hard enough to do, they’ll have to do it after dealing with major travel issues Monday into Tuesday.
According to Field of 68‘s Jeff Goodman, WVU’s plane had tire problems and didn’t leave for Kansas until after midnight. The team didn’t get to the hotel in Lawrence until after 2am. Their game against Kansas is set to tip off at 1:00 p.m. CT.

The spread on this game hasn’t moved much since the news came down. Kansas opened at as 12.5-point favorite and has moved to 13.5 or 14.5, depending on the sportsbook.
Tip-off is set for 1 p.m. central on ESPN+. The Jayhawks (9-2) are No. 7 in the AP Top 25 while West Virginia (9-2) is not ranked.
