It’s NFL Combine week, and the interview portion of the event is in full swing as the biggest names in college football began taking the podium on Thursday.
One of those names is Travis Hunter, Colorado’s two-way superstar and 2024 Heisman Trophy Winner. Hunter is expected to be in the mix to go to Tennessee with the No. 1 overall pick, and says that he’s already had his first meeting, in which the team approached him as a wide receiver.
He’s continually been told that nobody’s ever played both sides of the football with success in the NFL, but there’s no doubt in Hunter’s mind that he’s truly one-of-a-kind.
“They say, ‘nobody has ever done it the way I do it.’ I tell them, ‘I’m just different,'” Hunter said on Thursday.
His confidence, demeanor, and football knowledge were on display for all 32 NFL teams today, but what else will they get to see while Hunter is in Indianapolis?
In an interview with CBS, Hunter was asked whether he would do cornerback or wide receiver drills ahead of the draft.
The superstar talent says he’ll be doing both—but it won’t be at the combine.
Hunter intends to workout for NFL scouts at Big 12 Pro Day, where he’ll showcase his skills on both sides of the football.
He’s not the only big-time talent scheduled to be there, either, as Shedeur Sanders, Tetairoa McMillan, Jonah Savaiinaea, Jack Bech, Savion Williams, and several others are supposed to be a part of the event.
 Big 12 Pro Day will return to The Star in Frisco on March 18-21, with coverage provided on the NFL Network.
