He’s getting back into the swing of things with ESPN after beating cancer, and recently, the legendary broadcaster sat down with one of the most exciting players in the upcoming 2025 season.
BYU commit and five-star prospect AJ Dybantsa joined Vitale for brunch in Sarasota, Florida, and held something of an impromptu interview at the table.
Dybansta is fresh off a monster offensive performance in the McDonald’s All-American game on Tuesday night. He finished the night with 17 points, five rebounds, and one assist, shooing 7-for-12 from the field.
The consensus No. 1 player in the class of 2025, Dybantsa is listed at 6-foot-9, but has a wingspan over seven feet and is incredibly athletic at his size.
There’s little arguing that he’s got immense potential for BYU next season, and if he plays as well as expected, he’s likely only going to be there for one season.
