Kansas State basketball will have to deal with another loss to the 2025 roster after learning that sophomore center Baye Fall will enter the transfer portal.
A former top-30 recruit and McDonald’s All-American, Fall began his career at Arkansas in the 2023-24 season and spent just one season with the Wildcats before looking for another home in the third year of his collegiate career.
Listed at 6-foot-10, 205 pounds, Fall’s potential is immense, but it remains mostly unrealized through two years of collegiate experience.
During his time with the Razorbacks and Wildcats, Fall appeared in just 13 games, averaged 1.3 points and 1.4 rebounds, and shot 60% from the field in just 5.4 minutes per game.
This past season, Fall appeared in just four games, but did see his statistical averages improve, with 2.5 points and 1.5 rebounds in 6.3 minutes per game.
Fall, who played high school ball in Denver (CO), was the No. 5 Power Forward and No. 1 player in the state of Colorado in the class of 2023.
This makes four portal exits for the Wildcats this cycle, with Fall joining Brendan Hausen, Achor Achor, Macaleab Rich. Kansas State finished the 2024-25 season with a 16-17 overall record and a 9-11 mark in Big 12 play.
