Deion Sanders’ legacy as one of the greatest defensive backs to ever play the game has helped him land some of the most talented DBs in college football over the past several seasons.
It appears that trend could continue if things go Colorado’s way, as the Buffs are set to play host to the top available safety in the transfer portal.
According to On3’s Hayes Fawcett, Auburn transfer safety Terrance Love will visit Colorado this weekend as he searches for a new home.
Love, listed at 6-foot-2, 220 pounds, is a junior out of Fairburn, Georgia, and has played 22 games for the Tigers over two seasons in Auburn.
Love appeared in 12 games as a true freshman in 2023 and then another 10 games as a sophomore in 2024, totaling seven tackles and one PBU during his time there.
The Buffs are likely treating Love as a priority target with Adonis Forrest Jr., Ian Massey, and Savion Riley all hitting the portal this offseason and Shilo Sanders, the starter in 2024, headed to the NFL.
Love was a four-star prospect in the Class of 2023 and currently ranks as the No. 2 safety in the entire cycle.
