Former Big 12 All-American Reportedly Arrested for DUI

NCAA Football: Baylor at Texas Tech

Former NFL and Oklahoma State wide receiver Justin Blackmon was reportedly arrested this weekend. A mug shot with arrest details for a man named Justin Carl Blackmon surfaced on social media on Easter Sunday. It stated that Blackmon was arrested for public intoxication.

Here’s Blackmon’s mugshot that went viral Sunday.

Blackmon played for Oklahoma State from 2009-2011 and caught 253 passes for 3,464 yards and 40 touchdowns. He was a two-time unanimous All-American and won the Biletnikoff Award in 2010 and 2011.

In 2012, the Jacksonville Jaguars selected Blackmon No. 5 overall in the draft, but he has not played in the NFL since 2013. Before the 2014 season, Blackmon was arrested for possession of marijuana. He was arrested again in December 2015 for DUI and was sentenced to one year in jail in August 2016. The sentence was suspended pending the completion of one year of probation.

Oklahoma State recently announced that Justin Blackmon will be inducted into the Cowboys Ring of Honor, with the ceremony set to take place on Nov. 15 when Oklahoma State takes on Kansas State at Boone Pickens Stadium.
