Watch: Fans Prank Call Shedeur Sanders Pretending to be NFL GM on Draft Day

NCAA Football: Colorado at Arizona State

Regardless of your opinion of Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders, this is just plain wrong.

On Friday, two college football fans made a prank call to Sanders, pretending to be New Orleans Saints General Manager Mickey Loomis.

Sanders went viral during the draft for a multitude of reasons, one being his decision to buy a cell phone with only NFL general managers as contacts, in hopes of avoiding confusion from his other contacts.

Unfortunately, the number was leaked, which paved the way for two Ole Miss fans to call Sanders ahead of the Saints’ pick. The team wound up selecting Louisville’s Tyler Shough, which caused the Colorado quarterback to question the identity of the callers.

The video of the prank call surfaced on Sunday, and as a result, almost everyone called out the prank callers for such an awful act. Here are some of the top reactions to the situation from social media.
