On Tuesday, Kenny Dillingham and the Arizona State Sun Devils added a commitment from former Houston safety Maurice Williams Jr.
Williams, a sophomore in 2025, appeared in 10 games as a true freshman last season for one of the Big 12’s stingiest defenses.
Listed at 6-foot-1, 210 pounds, Williams ranked as a four-star prospect out of high school according to Rivals and held offers from more than 20 programs.
In 2024, Williams logged a total of 99 snaps, according to PFF, with the majority coming as a member of the special teams unit.
Now, he’ll hope to learn from an experienced and talented group in Tempe, and eventually get a chance to make an impact for ASU moving forward.
Arizona State will open up the 2025 season against Northern Arizona on August 30.
