Prediction
TCU and Arizona are two incredibly similar teams in terms of advanced statistics and analytics. Both teams are decent hitting programs, but they make the majority of their money keeping opposing runners off the base paths.
One major storyline to watch in the game is the duel between freshman pitchers Nate Stern and Smith Bailey. In their first time facing off on May 4th, TCU knocked Bailey around, recording four runs in three innings.
Stern did not see the field vs. Arizona earlier this month, but is set to make his first career start with the title game on the line. The freshman right-hander has been incredible in his 14 appearances, sitting with a 3-1 record and an ERA of 1.53.
