Deron Rippey Jr., the 17th-ranked prospect in the Class of 2026, narrowed down his list to 12 schools, which included the Kansas Jayhawks, per Joe Tipton.
His list also included Kentucky, Louisville, Alabama, Indiana, Duke, NC State, Miami, North Carolina, Tennessee, Syracuse, and Texas.
The 6-foot-2 point guard has fielded 40 offers as the fourth-best point guard in the 2026 cycle, according to On3.
Prior to trimming down his list, Rippey received offers from multiple Big 12 programs, including West Virginia, TCU, Oklahoma State, and the Texas Tech Red Raiders.
In the 2024-25 season with Blair Academy, Rippey posted 13.3 points, 2.2 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game.
The rising senior is scheduled for an official visit with KU on Nov. 2-4.
Kansas went 21-13 last season and lost in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. The Jayhawks have not advanced past the second round since their National Championship title run in 2022.
