ASU Boosters Raise $1.5 Million for Football Weight Room Renovation

NCAA Football: Arizona State at Arizona

In a testament to the soaring support behind Arizona State’s football resurgence, Sun Devil Athletic Director Graham Rossini revealed that “Sol Devil boosters raised $1.5 million in just two weeks to revamp the football weight room,” via Blake Niemann.

Rossini also noted that, to date, the campaign has surpassed $6 million for a proposed indoor practice facility, signaling strong momentum and unwavering booster confidence.

The news comes only weeks after Head Coach Kenny Dillingham teased a new tailgating experience for fans just outside the Sun Devils’ Stadium, a project expected to roll out in the next few years.

The donations will benefit not only the football program but also provide support for other athletic programs at ASU.

“There’s a lot of really good equipment in that weight room that now we can make available to other sports,” Rossini said.

Arizona State burst onto the national scene last season, winning the Big 12 title in its first year in the conference. Dillingham’s squad went on to earn the No. 4 seed in the College Football Playoff, cementing the Sun Devils as an immediate force in their new league.

Rossini credited the fan base for helping fuel the program’s rise.

“We want to drive outcomes for our fans because we feed off their energy,” he said.

Arizona State will look to build on its historic debut season when it opens the 2025 campaign at home against Northern Arizona on Aug. 30
