Class of 2026 three-star wide receiver Christian Ward has set his commitment date for Wednesday, Sept. 24, per Rivals.
Ward has narrowed his choices to four programs: Colorado, Arizona State, Alabama, and Michigan. The 6-foot-3 pass-catcher will complete his high school career at IMG Academy in Florida.
The 6-foot-3 wideout is ranked No. 535 nationally and the No. 128 receiver in the Class of 2026. His size and athleticism make him a high-upside prospect who could develop into an impact player at the next level.
He took an unofficial visit to Colorado for the Buffaloes’ matchup against Delaware, which marked the team’s first win of the season as Coach Prime’s squad rolled to a 31-7 victory.
He has not yet taken an official visit to Arizona State, who won the Big 12 last season in the team’s first run in the conference.
If he chooses the Buffaloes, it would mark one of Deion Sanders’ first significant wins on the recruiting trail since rejoining the conference and provide an immediate boost to Colorado’s passing attack.
A commitment to Arizona State, meanwhile, would give Kenny Dillingham another valuable piece for his offensive unit as the Sun Devils continue building off last season’s success.
On Saturday, Arizona State heads to Waco to face Baylor, while Colorado plays host to Wyoming.
